SERVICE-LEARNING PROGRAMS IN TRAINING CYCLE IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT

 

ABSTRACT

 

The objective of the present study was to evaluate two learning programs based on service projects in the studies of Training Cycle in Animation and Physical Activity. 50 students participated in Training Cycle, 144 Primary and 93 Secondary. The service provided was 2 sports promotion programs during recess. The first one was oriented to the initiation sport (4 months) and the second, to the animation and recreation (6 months). The results revealed the appropriateness of the use of learning methodologies based on service projects for their contribution to the training of the monitor (4,24) and generic competences (4,35); however, there were limitations in the quality of service (3,65).
