ABSTRACT
The objective of this study is to analyze the attitude control in a team of soccer players, according to their thoughts and behaviors during competition and at different times of their sports career. To do so, the LOEHR sports psychological profile was utilized. The study has revealed that this team has a medium-high level of attitude control, with a high capacity of effort and good self-regulation of thoughts. So, it considers the possibility of using a psychological intervention with the intention of improving or perfecting attitudes to cope with high-performance competition and so provide a greater athletic performance optimization.
